Holiday Project for Sunday Nov 6th

This is a votive I made from a wine glass.    The shade is made of vellum, stamped and embossed on the front side, and colored on the back with inks.   The wine glass was purchased at Good will (a great source for items like this at a very reasonable price).

The black layer of this card is sparkly although it doesn't show up very well in the photo.

this little card folds flat to fit into an A2 envelope.
Here is a side view of the above card.  Sorry for the blurry shot.
This is a window card.
and here is the window card open.
This card was inspired by one done by Eileen Lefevre.  Her blog is http://www.elefevre.blogspot.com/

and last but not least is this adorable little snowman made from an envelope----yes I said envelope---an A2.
but he is not just ANY OLD snowman.   He has a little secret---------

how about that for a nice surprise?????

And here are the pictures of the Thankgiving Blessings treat box I will be offering in this class.

This is the back of the box, explaining what each item in the blessings mix stands for.
If you wish to make this in addition to the Christmas cards, you must let me know in advance as I will only prepare enough kits for those who are signed up to make it.

Here are the card samples for my next class at HL. Oct 25th

OMG  I am so much enjoying stamping again !   That was a LONG 4 and a half weeks.   I still have to limit how much and what I use my wrist for as I don't have full range of motion in it yet, so it HURTS like H*LL if I push it too far.    But I am careful not to do that. LOL
So I bet you are wondering WHY I am offering classes two weeks in a row, right?   well--------------to be honest I am preparing you for what is coming NEXT month.  I have so much planned for classes and I don't know for sure HOW MANY will fly, that depends on how many sign up for them.   I won't do a class with less than 3 stampers.   I will post a schedule for the NOVEMBER classes here sometime later this week or perhaps next week sometime so you will know what to expect.
Now here are the card samples for the class to be held Tues Oct 25th.   Morning session at 9:30 AM and evening session at 5:30.   I am going to limit signups to 36 hours before a class just because there are so many classes and lots of prep work for many of them so I need time to get all the paper cut etc.
Ok how here are the samples for Oct 25th.
I won't be showing them  individually anymore as I have to take a pic of all the samples each class and put them on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper with information about the class, and those will be available for handouts at HL.   They don't want anymore sample boards.   Don't ask me-----I just teach there.   It isn't the way I would do it but I don't dictate HL policies.
You can click on the picture for a larger view.

This weeks Christmas card.    The stamps are from Heartfelt Creations.   The pointsetta is 2 layers, to add dimension.

This is the inside of this weeks Christmas card.   The pointsetta here is a sticker
If you wish to attend this class and make these cards, call me or email me before Sunday night.   Class fee is $10 for the 5 all occasion cards, the Christmas card is an extra $2 and all cards include an envelope.

OCT 18th Class samples are here!!!!!

hey everyone
Well finallly my wrist is healing enough to allow me to do a little stamping again.  Thank goodness.  I have missed playing in my stamp room sooooo much!
I have decided that since the weather has turned fallish, and the leaves are turning color and falling the cards from the Sept 20ths class I was GOING TO HAVE before I fell are still in tune with the season being that the theme was Autumn Leaves.    Hope you like the cards.
First the leaf card
sponged leaves

next some pretty fall daisies using the crayon resist technique.

and here are the bare fall trees using another sponging technique

We will NOT be doing THIS scarecrow card as I have substituted an adorable spider web popup card instead.  I am sure you are all going to LOVE it.
and here is a fall scarecrow card,
and now for the Christmas card for this week.   I am especially fond of this one.    It is a 5 inch square card, layered with some retired SU designer paper and uses a retired SU set I have always admired called A Wish for Peace.

Unfortunately you can't see the sparkle of the "snow" laden pines but in person it really sparkles.

and here is the inside of the card.

Well thats it for this week.    Hope you like the samples.  If you want to make these cards, just email me  BARB   or give me a call before Monday morning,  Sept 19th.

Card Samples for Sept 6th class

The class will be held at Hobby Lobby Ashwaubenon on Tuesday, Sept 6th.   The morning session starts at 9:30 and the evening session starts at 5:30.    Cost for the class is $10 for 5 cards with envelopes.   You furnish your own tape or adhesive, and a scissors.   I furnish everything else needed to make the 5 cards.   In addition to those 5 cards, I offer a Christmas card every class for an additional $2 each.    That also includes an envelope.  You can email me at kamperstampr@new.rr.com or if you can call me on my cell phone to register.  At that time please specify morning or evening class, and also whether or not you wish to add the Christmas card.
The theme for Tuesdays class is CUTTLEBUGGED.  Or Big Shotted if you own that instead. LOL   But regardless every card in this class has been cuttlebugged in some way.   These cards were so much fun to make.  I had to wait to finish the samples until my NEW cutting dies arrived and that didn't happen til later this week.   BUT the samples are done now and oh boy these new dies are the bomb.   I didn't even use half of the new ones I got this week.
Before I show the samples for this class, I would like to share with you the links to a few places I order my dies from.   I order MOST all of them online, and these are in NO PARTICULAR ORDER.   But check them all out as they have many interesting dies and embossing folders to offer.
