this is a card I made for a local stamp club I am in. We meet once a month and do each others cards, like in a shoebox party. Here is my card for tonight. Love these window dies. So much fun to work with.

I"M BACK finally!
wow it doesn't seem possible that 4 months have passed since I last posted. So much has happened in that time, first a broken wrist, then a month long visit from my little sister from Washington state, then my surgery for torn rotator cuff and torn bicep muscle in mid September. I am still on the mend from that, but with PT and lots of determination that too will be just a memory in time.
I HAVE been stamping though the past 2 weeks. One handed of course, but it all works. So my next class at Hobby Lobby will be held on Tuesday Nov 6th. And here are the samples from that class. I will be offering a 3D project in addition to the 5 usual cards, and it is optional. I will add that to this page over the weekend. You will have to notify me at kamperstampr@new.rr.com if you wish to make that project too. The cost is $2. and now here are the cards we will be making on the 6th of Nov.
and here is the optional 3d item you can make. It includes a LARGE box of tic tacs. Cost is $2. Be sure to email me and let me know that you wish to make this project in addition to the 5 cards.

Last 2 GOIN BUGGY card samples
My apologies for the delay in getting these cards up for you all to see. Life has been just a wee bit crazy here the past few weeks and I just couldn't seem to get into the stamp room for any length of time to get these 2 cards done. But they are here now so check them out. The first card uses a technique called Polished Stone for the background. And the last card is a simple one, using a technique called Paper Piecing.

Last of the 4 DIE CUT CARDMAKING CLASS SAMPLES
This card is called a SWING card. This one happens to be a single swing. What makes it different is that you can use ANY ultrathin die you wish to create a single swing card. This one happens to use the Framelits from Stampin Up. It is much easier than it looks, and is a very versatile card shape and fits into an A2 envelope.
I certainly hope that after you have completed these 4 cards, you will be very excited about using your die cut machine, be it a Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Grand Calibur, Wizard, or Vagabond. They are such versatile machines and so much fun to work with.

Another card from the DIE CUT Class of Tues April 24 & 26th
This card features the "Outside the Box" technique. This card will teach you how to die cut an image that is larger than the die itself. The 4 corners feature a lovely little die cut which I sponged with the blue imk used on the focal point. Tomorrow I will share the last card we will be making. The signups for these classes are closed. The image is a digi from Fred She Said.

DIE CUT CARD MAKING CLASS
My next class will be next week at Hobby Lobby Ashwaubenon. Times for the classes are as follows---There will be 4 (four) sessions) and each one will be limited to 6 students. We will be exploring the use of die cutting machines and creating 4 cards. Cost is $10 per person. You will be using a machine to make each of your cards, hence the reason for limited size on the classes. I have 2 Big Shots and one Vagabond so there is a machine for each 2 students in the class. Here are the dates and times for the classes------------
Here are 2 samples from that class.
The first one uses the technique called REVESE Nestabilities. The image is a digital image from Cornish Heritage Farms.
Tuesday Apr 24th 9:30 AM til 12:30 PM CLASS IS FULL

This monochromatic card could be used for a baptism, first communion, confirmation, or even sympathy. It was inspired by one I saw at Heartprints.net. Sue Nelson has long been a huge inspiration for me. And this card is almost a total case. I changed the color of the card to Ivory instead of the white she used and the crosses are different.
I will be adding the other 2 cards here later today or for sure tomorrow. BUT IF you wish to attend this class, I must hear from you BEFORE NOON tomorrow Friday April 20th. So email me soon and reserve your spot in class.

Last card for Tues, Mar 27th cardmaking class at Hobby Lobby Ashwaubenon
This is an almost direct copy of a card done by Joanne Travis. Her card is so beautiful that I only changed the birthday wish stamp. A quick and easy card that looks like you slaved over it. Hope you like it too.
Remember you MUST contact me at kamperstampr@new.rr.com to reserve your spot in this class. There will be a 9:30 AM session and another at 5:30 Pm. Cost is $10. You bring adhesive of your choice and a scissors, I will bring the rest. And of course there will be chocolate to keep your energy level up while creating your cards.

Another Class sample for the March 27th Hobby Lobby Cardmaking class
This card was made using a new stamp set I purchased from Stampin Up called Heaven blessed. Love the sweet images that are so spring like. Brings back memories of my Easters as a child. Here it is----I can't sit in the house any longer today. It is 11:15 and the garden is calling me. LOL sooooo hopefully later today or for sure tomorrow the last card will go live here on the blog. Happy Sunday everyone.

CLASS SAMPLES for THE March 27th Cardmaking class at Hobby Lobby
Hi everyone
I have been very busy the past week and a half taking care of a friend who underwent a hip replacement. So between that and wanting to be outdoors in the beeeeutiful weather we have had lately, I have not gotten very far on the card samples for the Mar 27th class. BUT I do have 3 of them finished so decided to share what I have today rather than making you wait forever to see what you will be making in this class.
The first card was inspired by one Nancy Dawson did using her technique for making tulips from the 5 petal flower punch from Stampin Up. There are other brands of punches that have basically the same design and also a couple of cutting dies that make that same shape flower.

and this card was inspired by a card that http://stamplaura.blogspot.com/2012/02/recent-swaps.html displayed on her blog. Loved the idea so this is what I came up with-------
and the 3rd card I have finished is this one. It uses a new set of dies from Spellbinders. The line is called Cut, fold and Tuck and when you look at the sample you can see why. This is an old technique we used to call Lace`, pronounced la-ca. We used to use a metal template and cut teh medallion with an exacto knife. What a pain! The die makes it so much easier.
Hopefully I will get the other 2 cards done this weekend (IF I can keep my fanny IN THE HOUSE!!!!!) LOL Will get them posted as soon as I finish them.
